I should give d3 a second chance. Enough time has passed and I hear nothing but good things since reapers came out.

It really has become an excellent game since ROS came out.

It really is an awesome game, looking forward to this update. When the only problem I currently have with the game is the fact that I want more storage for all my cool loot. It's a good time.

I played hardcore and had a very high level character. I drank a beer, stayed up late, smoked a little MJ, and FELL asleep. Character died and I opened my eyes right when it happened.

Will start new character and get into it again with this patch.

I love the game, but I do have a bit of a beef with the drop rates. For example, I have 258 hours on my barbarian alone (I have several other max toons), yet haven't seen a SINGLE drop of The Furnace.

Now, I understand rares, but that's a bit insane.

Yah, it was particularly bad early in the game's release. I went through normal, nightmare, hell and inferno, then grinded a bit after in inferno without seeing a SINGLE unique when the game first released. That whole "work"/reward mechanism that goes with a loot driven game wasn't completely busted.

It was at least a bit better now as of the last time I've played it, but I don't know where the drop rates are currently at.

Well, you want your best drops to occur once you've hit lvl 70. There's nothing quite so disappointing as getting an amazing drop in the mid to high 60s, knowing it's nerfed just enough to make it not worth using for long.

I think their drop rates are still a mess, but at least you generally get stuff you can use for that particular toon. Before it was basically an AH game...buy and sell your junk loot for what you actually need. That's not the case any longer, thankfully.

The lack of trading is what killed looking for a particular drop. However i've found that I usually find a specific legendary* I need by gambling away all those blood shards.

*Unless its a weapon, getting a specific weapon is almost impossible, but I personally like it that way.

I did eventually find both Thunderfury and Shard of Hate for my barb, so things work out eventually. Also my monk is using a full Raiment of the Thousand Storms, which brings his generator attack up to like +900% weapon damage. Diablo III can be a silly game sometimes.

Got Thunderfury as well (a few times, actually), but no Shard of Hate. My barb uses the Bul-Kathos combo for whirlwind and fury generation. I never run out of fury. It's great!

I also absolutely LOVE the gem of ease. Drop that, ranked 25 or up, in a lvl 70 weapon and leveling becomes a real breeze up to 60 or so; 60 to 70 is a bit of a grind.
