For me is Dota 2 and Diablo III, actually. Dota 2 when friends are around and Diablo whenever I feel like trying to find a God Damned good glove for my monk....

Both of the trailers are absolutely hilarious. Marketing success. Bought!

I've picked up around 14 games so far. Batman O. was cheap, and I'm digging it so far. Also got two copies of Pay Day 2. One for me, and the other for a friend. We're going to try it out next weekend. So far it has been an ok sale for me. I'm also digging UnEpic.

I have bought more already than I thought I would. Plus a few on GOG. I missed out on Riptide unfortunately. I am hoping it will pop up again.
So far:
Brutal Legend w/ soundtrack ( I have no good reason for this one)
Battleblock Theater
Fable The Lost Chapters
The Wolf Among Us
The Stanley Parable

I missed Final Fantasy 7 when it was $4. I've never played it. Hope it drops back down again.

I played FF7 once. It was horrible. Unlike FF6 and FF9 which are the best in the series.

Kill yourself. Meteria is the best system they ever did.
Picked up Metro: Last Light Complete for $8 or whatever. That was something like 50 not that long ago. I'll save that for when I get that 770, hopefully next week.

Game shame!
Materia is definitely bomb.
The game, imo, is almost unplayable today. It's clunky by modern standards, unbeautiful, tedious even. There exist 10 minute summoning spells. 10 minutes! I guess you can skip them after the first time, but that first time.
I played it so long that the timer counted up to 99 hours, 59 minutes and stopped. I'll bet that happened to a lot of people.
So I guess it was good enough for it's day, I just can't really imagine going back to it. And if you don't research things like where rare materia can be found you'll have a much worse time. It was one of the first research-mandatory games.
I mean, could you ever figure out how to breed a black chocobo otherwise? Not really.
Go for it.

Which is why I told him to watch it. You don't say "kill yourself". People will do it.

If someone values their life so little that some randomer on the internet jokingly telling them to kill themselves is what pushes them over the edge then I don't care. They will have done it sooner or later.
Harsh yes, but I don't have much time for suiciders. The people with genuine mental issues fine, but a lot of the time it's just stupid kids that can't grasp the world doesn't revolve around them. I mean Christ, there was a bunch of kids who hung themselves in Wales iirc because it was "cool". I'm supposed to have sympathy for that?

This is the worst review/description of difficulty of FFVII ever.
First of all, there is one...ONE summon that is "long", and that is Knights of the Round. It is nowhere near 10 minutes long.
You can complete every sidequest, master every materia including a Master Command/Magic/Summon for 3 characters, and beat the game in well under 100 hours.
Even if you miss a bunch of the non-mandatory materia, the game is really not that difficult. People don't praise this game based on its difficulty, they praise it because of the story, art style, and music.
And if you ask me, it certainly is not unbeautiful, even by today's standards. Clearly, the graphics are 17 years old. But bearing that in mind, the environments are gorgeous and rich with detail. No other RPG has ever pulled me into a world so intensely as Final Fantasy 7.
