Noooo, I promised myself no more steam games this month.

The Long Dark - Definitely on my radar.

Thanks for the post, Emabulator! (and thanks for contributing to my financial ruin!)

Nothing on my wish list is cheap enough (yet) to muscle its way onto my backlog...

If it isn't a daily deal and is on your wishlist, wait until the last day.

If you can wait a month, you'd probably get better deals during the Christmas sale.

I'm with you. I was gonna pull the trigger on Civ: BE but I read some of the reviews and I'll wait to GOTY is on sale a year from now, like I did with CIV: V.

But I did have to grab Shadowrun Dragonfall at 7.50. I've been waiting for it to go on sale and I think it's something I can breeze through while on the airplane.

I haven't found cag usable in the last few years, though maybe I'm doing it wrong. However, isthereanydeal.com/ is fantastic, imo. Import custom/steam wishlist, get auto notice whenever anything on it drops below historic low.

IsThereAnyDeal is great with the email alert system. Also, my #1 site for bargains (though my wallet disagrees) is Game Deals on Reddit:

I really wanted to like this series with the space combat + RTS parts. But then I played it and unfortunately it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. You can't save at all in the RTS segments (some of which can take over an hour if you tend to turtle, like me), and then they throw these text based Hammurabi and Choose Your Own Adventures into the mix? Ugh. Thankfully, you can skip those missions.

The space element was a lot of fun, though, I will give it that.

This is my favorite right here: http://www.steamgamesales.com/

Lot of flexibility in the filters, and I can find the best deals right away.
