Lies.

I would have used the Affiliate link too, but apparently those things sell out too fast. Oh well!.

Money well spent. I'm amazed at how much fun Zelda is. I love the fact that weapons break so quickly. It forces you to play with all different types of weps in the game. I'd like to see this gameplay feature migrate to the next bloodborne (or from software) game.

Yah - game is incredible. It's not perfect, but it is a masterpiece in my mind. I thought I would hate the weapon breaking system, and I didn't like it early, but after getting such an expanded inventory and items with longer durability, it evened out.

And as you said, it get's you not only using an assortment of weapons and getting better with spears, 2 handed swords, boomerangs, fire/ice/lightning rods, etc, it adds to the dynamic of looting enemy encampments. I can sneak in, steal their weapons before they can arm themselves, then use those weapons against them. It has a lot of little hidden strategic elements you don't really think about until you really think about it. 70+ hours in, I'm glad the weapon system is the way it is.

Totally. The majority of games have such a static upgrade path for your weapons that you really never experiment. I also really like the way they approached the sandbox elements. It's a game where I truly enjoy exploring the world. I think the stylized graphics help with that because it's easier to notice points of interest off in the distance.

Thank link was active for a couple of hours. I guess most people being at work didn't see that it was available. I was tempted to get one for my Daughter, but I gave it a pass.

I'm sure there's a ton of people on the Amazon email alert list for Switch. This will probably go on for a while.

I signed up to be emailed when they became available again from Amazon (signed up the morning after preorders were available), and didn't receive any kind of notification from them yesterday. So I guess that must be more of a notification to let you know when they aren't selling out anymore. Very useful.

Most of them work perfectly fine...not that it matters to anyone on the internet.

I got the impression from that Cnet article about the joycon repair that the current manufacturing process has already been corrected. So I'm thinking that any new Switch should have the fixes in place now.

I got one bro, I love the damn thing. If it truly becomes the 3DS follow-up it is going to be a glorious piece of hardware.

I think it would be too soon for those to be out in consumer hands. But it also was made to sound like it was isolated to a particular factory and not across the board.

I'm sure my Daughter will just love it. I'll probably spring for it the next time Amazon has them for sale. She didn't get a ton of stuff for Christmas this year because she is difficult to buy for. Heh.
