I have been wrong a few times too many on Batman casting, so I am going to withhold judgment here. I liked Keyton, of course can't say enough good about Ledger, and Batfleck was one of the best, IMO because, unlike most of the others (especially Christian Bale), he humanized Batman. That isn't to say I didn't like Bale's Batman but I when you see Batfleck taking off his suit and being sore and black and blue and just being human in a world of super powered people, it gives it a different context than we've seen batman in the movies before.

I worry more that Pattison can't bulk up enough than he can't play the role.

This 1000%. I'm intrigued by Robert Pattinson getting the role, and I am willing to give him a chance, but literally the only thing I've thought about with regard to him playing Batman is his frame. We've seen actors do crazy things for their roles, so it's not out of the question for him to get ripped for it, but we'll see. As always I'm hoping for the best!

They need to find a person who looks like the Animated Series Bruce Wayne and has Kevin Conroy's voice.
They could do what everyone wants to do with a live-action Archer movie, which would be to cast Jon Hamm as Archer, but still have H. Jon Benjamin do the voice. Kevin Conroy is Batman, and he did a great job of giving a unique voice to both Batman and Bruce Wayne.

Ben Affleck was, however, the first actor we've really had that looked the part. I felt like he did a great job with the material he had to work with.

I'm thinking Batman needs to be more masculine, but CGI can do the heavy lifting, right?

Wait I read the other day Keaton was playing old batman a la Batman Beyond.
Is that still a thing? This guy is too old to be the young batman in training type.
If he is just regular Batman without Keaton I am a firm Meh.

I hope so. They can completely replace him digitally. And I do mean completely.

Yup I found both Bane & Batman's voices to be giggle inducing.
