They waited way too long for this sequel. No idea wth they were thinking. It was a successful first film.

So, it's just a Mr. Mom remake with the Incredibles. Man, I love movies, but sometimes Hollywood just isn't even trying.

Wouldn't be the first time for Pixar. Cars is Doc Hollywood with cars. At least the universe of Incredibles makes sense, so I am doing to watching it in theaters as long as the extended trailers end up looking good.

I was excited because I love the first movie. But, after watching this trailer, I'm not quite as excited.

Too early to tell but the trailer does sell it as mr. mom, the pacifier, daddy daycare type stuff.

I loved the first movie but this trailer kind of killed my excitement for part 2.

Glad you agree. My kids and I love Cars 2. I used to work there and know the crew there. You may not like every film and that's expected but its filled with extraordinary talent and people dedicated to their craft. I am not worried.

Wait, I thought Jack-Jack got a suit in the first movie? I have to admit I laughed at the "New Math" bit, though.

I guess I have the opposite response as everyone else. I think the trailer made me more excited. It’s another angle on real life family and family dynamics as seen through the filter of super heroes. That’s all I need.

Well, it could work, I suppose, but if there's no danger to the people at home, you don't need super heroes to tell that story. I'm cautiously optimistic, but starting with "Bolt" (and with the exception of "Frozen"), I've liked Disney's animated in-house stuff more than Pixar's. I haven't seen their take on "Grim Fandango" yet, but the much-hyped "Inside Out" was a huge disappointment for me.

Yeah, I can’t watch The Book Pf Life or O’Connor without seeing ripoffs Of Grim Fandango. Maybe that’s wrongheaded of me.

You love Cars 2 and the 50 Shades movies? Man, I feel a lot better about enjoying the Star Wars prequels now. :P

Nothing to say on The Good Dinosaur? Hey don't get me wrong, I'm probably one of the only people above the age of 5 that actually thought the first Cars movie was pretty good, and I'll still sit and watch it. Hell I'll even defend Cars 3!

Cars 2 however... That's the movie you make when you have no ideas.

I'm just beginning to think that they have folded under the demand people have had for this movie for so long. In an effort to produce probably the only movie that warranted a sequel (Toy Story 3 stands fully justified in existing however), they have retreated to a paint-by-numbers plot in an effort to just shove any old trash out the door... Much like Cars 2.

Coco is absolutely fantastic, go see it whenever you can.

I didn't really love Cars 1 when I saw it in the theater but my son was obsessed with it. After repeated viewings, it really grew on me to the point where I like it quite a bit. Cars 2 was horrendous in comparison. Cars 3 wasn't bad but they botched the ending in an effort to be surprising or something. I think the original, albeit "safer" ending where McQueen won and then went onto coaching would have been better. It would have set up a sequel where Cruz gets her own movie basically too. Someone else also suggested that a swerve where Jackson Storm went from villain to hero as sort of the new McQueen would have been good too.

I also didn't think Good Dinosaur was a bad movie. It wasn't one of their best but I don't think it deserves the derision it gets.

Of course this is all based on what I think of the overall movies. Pixar pretty much always nails the character designs and visuals.
