Was that Rasputin fighting?
OMFG, how timely. I've just been catching up on that part of history.
I've already decided to watch this, multiple times.

I like it! The first was good campy fun, the second not so much.
This one looks like they may take it in a more serious direction. I am glad they didn't expand with the crummy plot with Channing Tatum and the Statesmen and so on. That didn't work well for me.

And here lies why I hated the first one. The film was presented as serious and, for at least the first half, was mostly played straight with a few elements that diverged from that formula. A little over the top in terms of action here and there but nothing people haven't learned to just deal with thanks to the Star Wars prequels. In the second half of the first film, however, a whole different movie started--One that was just patently ridiculous. Since I am not a fan of camp, I was immediately taken out of the flick and wanted nothing more to do with it.

This looks extremely entertaining, can't wait to see it.
Also, if that turns out to be Rasputin I'm going to go nuts!

Where's all this love for Rasputin coming from? Also, I'm a bit disappointed that no-one seems to be talking about this guy:
He even had that spinning attack:
Back on topic: The first "Kingsman" film openly mocked James Bond, and now they've hired M? Ballsy. I was immensely disappointed by the second movie, because it was just silly from start to finish. I hope this one learns from the mistakes made. On the other hand, I wouldn't want it to turn into a completely serious spy flick either...

Just reading the title and not watching the vid, I was gonna make the joke that this could be a prequel to The Kingsmen before they added more than one guy. But reading the comments it looks like the movie makers apparently already thought of that. Hate it when real life beats you to the joke.

He was an amazing historical character. Some say he was screwing Queen Romanov and distracting the King while others say he healed Nicholas, who eventually failed to modernize and hold together his families dynasty.
So, it's very likely that without Rasputin, we don't have our modern world in exactly the same way.
