Destiny has micro transactions and DLC, best of both money grubbing activities. If I didn't enjoy the game I wouldn't be so upset about it. But i am not getting this, especially at $35.

I very much regret buying the season pass. This first DLC is 2 story missions that double as the new strikes, some reskinned items, and a fuckload of content locked behind Eververse, including an emote that can be used to LFG in public spaces. More changes are coming next week but I doubt it will be enough to keep me playing.

I was all about it when i got it. NotnEmore. I dont have the want to sit and figure out if Bungie is trying to fuck me by gimping the game to herd me to microtransaction or not. I aint got time for that garbage, just fucking die.

It's still weird to me that DLCs are released so quickly. I miss the old days where you'd pay $50 for a game, play the shit out of it, then a year or two later an expansion would release for ~30, and you'd play the shit out of that.

I just don't like the new(ish) business model of nickel-and-diming us gamers. But, at least we still have indie titles... unfortunately, most of them are 8-bit nostalgia-clones.

I guess I'm just a miserable, cynical old fuck.
