I'm playing through Mafia 3 now. I got the game and all DLC dirt cheap. 7 bucks for PC. 43 hours in. There's things they did right and things that they certainly didn't. The voice acting and cut scenes are well done. Driving around New Bordeaux is fun, the soundtrack is on point. I like the connections to Mafia 2 with Vito. Some of the DLC missions are fun. However most of the missions aren't. It is a straight grind. Repetitive as hell. I'm almost at the finish line but it certainly isn't Mafia 1 or 2.

I'll pick this up. Never played Mafia II but always read it was an overlooked gem that had great world building.

Loved Mafia 2, wasn't a big fan of Mafia 1. Drive a car over 60mph; car explodes.
