Weekend Gamer: What are you playing?

So Friday I pretty much worked from the moment I left the house to the moment I got back 14 hours later. And Saturday has been the same thing. So I am not having a weekend - but I realized, everyone else is. What are you playing?

I've spent the majority of the week playing the TG-16/PC Engine classic Ys Book 1 & 2. I remember playing this first on the Sega Master System. Overall it's a fun (mostly mindless) action RPG.

Also, some more time with Cuphead.

Didn't get time to play, just worked on my game project and argued with my brain dead leftist brother.

Im sure ive said this before, but i had a TG 16 as a kid, around 91. Had Legendary Axe, World Class Baseball, JJ and Jeff, Aero Blasters, Keith Courage, Jack Nicholas Golf, Alien Crush. The CD add on was holy grail.

I have Ys on my Retro Pi but ive never loaded it up. I really want to play it on original hardware. I just need to break down and buy a Duo.

Good call. It's not really required...but, the beginning of FBW does kinda immediately following the end of SoT.

I didn't get a chance to play any games this weekend. I did, however, get to catch the Bruins blow a three goal lead (which they held twice) and lose in overtime. I still had a blast, but it always sucks when the away fans get to gloat on the way out.

I'm playing on an emulator too

I keep saying I should get a Duo too, and the price keeps going up every year.

I use a windows emulator called Ootake. It really is one hell of an emulator. It takes a little bit of poking around to get use to its interface, but this really is as close to the read deal as I've ever found. It does require you to manually mount an image to a virtual drive, or you can use a real CD. I just use Daemon Tool lite for that.
