LOL. Politico: Dem. Rep. becoming a Republican.

lulz.

Quote:
Van Drew’s congressional, campaign staff and other members of the New Jersey delegation were informed he was planning to switch parties on Saturday, according to Democratic sources. The question now was when, not if, Van Drew was joining the Republican Party, according to several Democrats with knowledge of the ongoing conversations.

Story Continued Below
As of Saturday afternoon, it was still unclear if Van Drew would make the announcement before the House votes on impeachment, which is expected Wednesday.

“It was supposed to be bipartisan, it was supposed to be incontrovertible. It was supposed to be something that was always on the rarest of circumstances,” Van Drew told reporters about impeachment earlier this week. “Well it’s not bipartisan.”

That's the media bubble idiots like Eats live in, concern-trolling that folks have left the liberal media plantation for actual truth. Awesome times we live in, with the Internet and a wide array of sources revealing the lying liars of the left for the lying liars they are.

People fleeing the democratic party as a protective mechanism!

He is weak and the democrat IMPEACHAPALOOZA has weakened him even further to the point where not even simply voting against Impeachment will save him, he has to switch parties!

Quote:
Representative Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey, a moderate Democrat who is among his party’s staunchest opponents of impeaching President Trump, told aides on Saturday that he is planning to switch parties and declare himself a Republican as soon as next week, just as the House is casting its historic votes on articles of impeachment.

Yeah. The entertaining part is that he's been one of the Dems most against impeachment (because he is in a Trump district) but he feels like not even that is enough to save him. The message of "I fought impeachment every step of the way and voted against impeachment" isn't strong enough when used as a campaign talking point.

I expect there are some 25 other democrats in vulnerable districts who may be looking at this to see how it pans out.

For me, watching this entire Kabuki theater that the dems have been acting out since Trump got elected has been enlightening really. They truly thought that with their lapdog media who lies for them every single day and has lied to the American people for decades that Hillary had no chance of losing, it's like all the Regressives who spend their days on twatter stroking each other's egos as they bake in their little echo chambers of lies.

Since Hillary did indeed lose because middle America isn't batshit fucking crazy and doesn't want to turn the US into a socialist shithole, their only recourse has been to attempt to remove Trump from office from day 1. They're scared, they're afraid of being investigated for all their crimes, all the insider trading that got many of them rich, all the back room deals with foreign governments to sell out America and it's interest and they've also have attempted to accelerate their plan for a one world globalist controlled government. Non coastal whites won't deliver that to them because they don't hate themselves enough to do it, so instead they need to remove Trump and make sure he doesn't win in 2020, which he will despite their best efforts.

8 years of Obama followed by 8 years of Hillary would have ended the US entirely. Trump getting in has bought us a tiny bit of time to expose the deep state for what it truly is. The unfortunate thing however is most of America's intelligence agencies, CIA, FBI, are obviously compromised. Reagan and Thatcher were right, we should have listened.

Dude I posted on Friday.

You guys keep acting like impeachment is going so badly but that is just made up nonsense. A poll came out saying 50% of people want to impeach like yesterday. I mean Trump clearly did what the articles of impeachment accuse him of. He should be impeached and no amount of tap dancing or saying the dems have been trying to impeach him matters. He clearly did obstruct justice and abuse power.

What is really crazy is that this is basically what Trump was accused of doing with Russia, and here he is fully caught soliciting foreign powers to help him win an election, yet you guys still try and pretend he is innocent. Showing that you never actually cared if Trump did what he was accused of doing with Russia, because you would've just then claimed it was ok all along I guess.

No one reasonable thinks the Senate is going to convict Trump unless some kind of crazy bomb shell comes out before then and now, but nothing has changed since Friday when I last posted. Probably nothing will change and Trump will get acquitted and then you guys will pretend he was exonerated. That is what I expect to happen.

When liberals say "Clearly..." the rest of what follows is the same crazy-eyed BS that they always shout when they have their fingers in their ears doing the "NANANANANA I'M NOT LISTENING TO YOU!" routine.

At this rate it's more accurate to say that you clearly admitted to being an accessory to rape at those frat parties.

And in reality land all this entire fiasco has done is make Biden look worse than before and Trump look better. Step out of your echo chamber Eats, reality in 2020 is going to feel like a kick upside the head when Trump is reelected.

Here's Joe Biden bragging about the very thing they're trying to impeach Trump over. At about 2:00 into the video. I love how the Obama administration and Hillary's campaign can go to the UK and other countries trying to dig dirt up on a presidential elect and that is A ok in the eyes of partisan hacks like yourself, but Trump investigating corruption as the sitting President of the United States of America is somehow this evil impeachable offense to you low iq morons.

I know your views are extreme, but you are really going to sit there and pretend Trump didn't engage in obstruction of justice?

That is like claiming Clinton didn't lie under oath.

Are you just unaware of how many GOP reps are resigning this cycle or something? Why would you even bring this up when it is so slanted against the GOP right now?

I mean the head of the freedom caucus left the republican party. 22 GOP House members and 4 GOP Senators are not standing for reelection. That’s more than 10% of the entire House Republican conference.

Definitely a concern that there's a lot of the GOP not coming back, but switching party is the like the ultimate statement in Politics.

As for those who aren't coming back, in a lot of ways I think that's healthy for a few reasons:

1) There shouldn't be such thing as a career politician

2) They are not all leaving because they don't like the direction the party is going, but even if they are it is good these folks are out rather than sabotaging the party and Trump

3) Hopefully they are replaced by new blood who are determined and patriotic, like Dan Crenshaw, and can finish driving a stake into "business as usual"

There is a risk these seats go to dems, but the enemy you know vs. the one who will try to subvert the party is better, IMO.

More of Eats's classic but oh so obvious tricks. #1 accuse me of being extreme (feel free to provide examples of how extreme I am.) #2 Throw an inconsequential shot at the left in order to appear more intellectually honest (sorry, it doesn't work.)

You're a dumb little fucker, lol.

1. It is not "obstruction of justice" for the executive branch to assert its prerogatives and authority. If Congress wants information it's not getting and believes it is rightfully due, we have a solution for that dumbass; go to court.

2. The only other charge (abuse of authority) is so vague as to be applicable to ANY president EVER in ANY circumstance.

Interesting how their articles of impeachment have 0% (that's zero...nothing...zip...nada) content from 'muh Russia' and Mueller's report, lol. You spent three years colluding with powers both foreign and domestic to get this guy, and you're left with a phone call.

So delicious. OMG, this whole Dem debacle has been absolutely the most entertaining political meltdown I've ever seen. Thank you so much.

Hey Eats, you conveniently forgot that last line from Chief's quote. Just wanna make sure that everyone gets a second chance to read it.
