The Grinch Unwraps a Big Weekend at the Box Office
The Grinch brought in some early holiday cheer for the studio with a $66 million opening weekend, though he might not be smiling next weekend when Fantastic Beasts opens and steals his presents.
Here is the Weekend Boxoffice Chart for the weekend of November 9th to November 11th, 2018.
- Dr. Seuss' The Grinch $67,5/$67.5
- Bohemian Rhapsody $31.2/$100.3
- Overlord $10.2/$10.2
- The Nutcracker and the Four Realms $10.0/$35.7
- A Star is Born $8.1/$178.1
- The Girl in the Spider's Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story $7.8/$7.8
- Nobody's Fool $6.6/$24.3
- Venom $4.9/$206.2
- Halloween $3.9/$156.9
- The Hate U Give $2.0/$26.6
- Smallfoot $1.5/$80.3
- Beautiful Boy $1.4/$5.2
I went on a solo mission to see Overlord, great film! You just can't go wrong with Nazi Zombies!

Planned to see Overlord for months, but my wife's dad passed and we had funeral stuff to do. I'll try to catch it next weekend.
