It will be interesting to find out.

I feel like she probably has quite a bit of expeditionary dialog to explain what happened with Kylo and how he fell to the dark side. They could have Luke do it, but I would think they would want the pathos of having a mother talk about her son turning evil.

I would think that JJ Abrams isn't a good enough writer to think of that angle. Seriously.

THR: Debbie Reynolds Rushed to Hospital for Medical Emergency

Quote:
Her daughter, beloved actress Carrie Fisher, died Tuesday.

Debbie Reynolds has been rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency. Her exact condition is unclear.

The Hollywood Reporter was able to confirm through the Los Angeles fire department that an "adult female" in "fair to serious condition" was transported to the hospital from the reported residence of Reynolds' son, Todd. No additional information was released by authorities.

Joely Fisher around 2:50 p.m. tweeted a picture of her and Reynolds with the comment "God speed mama."

Reynolds' agent, Tom Markley, referred THR to family for information. He said he could not confirm any information.

Reynolds’ daughter, beloved Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher, died Tuesday after suffering a heart attack days before. She was 60.

That would've been quite a moment.

Well, anyone can turn on a lightsaber. Han does it in Empire to save Luke. Luke does it when he first gets Vader's saber, so it is totally possible for Leia to own one or use one.

I really don't understand the choice to not make her learn to be a Jedi. She's brother to the last Jedi. She has the same potential. And the universe would be a lot safer with two Jedi than with one. Was Luke so greedy for power he wouldn't train her. Did she not want to be trained? Luke says in 6 that she will learn in time to use as well. What on earth.

I think that decision is my biggest problem with ep-7. At least they stuck with Han and Leia having children and them being Jedi. Kylo is a bold choice but an interesting one at least, but his dedication to Vader doesn't make a lot of sense, unless he's been dramatically lied to about who Vader actually was.

Debbie Reynolds with 15 year old daughter Carrie Fisher.

Debbie Reynolds Dies at 84 — Just One Day After Daughter Carrie Fisher

Quote:
Screen icon Debbie Reynolds has died at the age of 84. The news comes just one day after her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher, 60, died of a heart attack.

Reynolds was thinking of her daughter in her final moments. “I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie,” she said shortly before passing, reports TMZ.

Reynolds was at her and Fisher’s property when she had to be rushed to the hospital for a possible stroke on Wednesday afternoon, PEOPLE confirmed .

On Tuesday, Reynolds had taken to social media to thank fans for their support in the wake of her daughter’s death.

“Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter,” Reynolds, 84, said on Facebook. “I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop.”

Among the last legends from Hollywood’s golden age, Reynolds — an actress, singer, dancer, entrepreneur, humanitarian and historian — achieved fame that was bigger than the parts she played — from Singin’ in the Rain to her offscreen role in one of the most famous scandals in celebrity history when her husband, Eddie Fisher, left her for her friend Elizabeth Taylor.

Reynolds had one of those classic Hollywood discovery stories. Born Mary Frances Reynolds in El Paso, Texas, to parents Maxine and Raymond, she moved with the family around age 7 to Burbank, California. It was in the Miss Burbank beauty pageant, when Reynolds was 16, that a talent scout from Warner Bros. discovered her and signed her to a contract with the powerhouse studio.

Asked what the turning point was in her career, Reynolds told PEOPLE in 2011, “Winning this contest, which was unusual. My suit came from the Salvation Army … I didn’t have high heels. There were talent scouts, and they thought I was a funny little kid. They took me to Warner Brothers and signed me up.”

She made five films in three years with luminaries like Lana Turner and Fred Astaire, but it was her sixth that turned Reynolds from just another ingénue into America’s Sweetheart: Singin’ in the Rain.

The 1952 musical-comedy about the death of silent films and rise of the talkies starred Reynolds as Kathy Selden, a chorus girl who meets cute with silent movie star Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly). Thanks to Selden’s golden pipes, she winds up as the stand-in for the imperious (but squeaky-voiced) Lina Lamont, played by Jean Hagen. There are a couple of ironies in the fact that Singin’ turned Reynolds into a star. The first is that before filming, Reynolds couldn’t dance. She learned, and hoofed until her feet bled for the “Good Morning” scene with Kelly and costar Donald O’Connor.

“For five months they trained me before we started shooting,” Reynolds told PEOPLE in 2011. “They would really bleed on ‘Good Morning, Good Morning.’ We would never stop shooting, so we would continually do the number and my feet were all bloody.”

They say these things come in threes but it seems we've got 4s going and there are still a few days in the year. 2016 is a becoming a banner year for the Grim Reaper; not only for celebs but for people the world round.

As we mourn for the rich and beautiful, let's not forget about the little people who died of natural causes or whose lives were cut short maybe just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Arguably much more tragic than someone passing away due to their misspent youth finally catching up to them.

According to CNN there were 29,376 world wide deaths due to terrorism, which is a drop but this is because to many of these deaths being reclassified as "war deaths" due to the ongoing wars between the actors in the middle east. 731 deaths in what is called the "Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development" which mostly consists of the modern Western World; a 650% increase over last year.

In the US alone the 4 most dangerous cities comprising a population of a small country (4 million) moves the US from 100s on the list of the most murderous countries in the world per capita to the top 5. Chicago itself contributed over 700 of those murders this year outdoing their 2015 number of over 500 by a good margin. Go Chicago!

Mourn for the person who may have been the glamorous girl of your dreams or made a moment in time extra special then send a prayer out to the others too.

I'm not sure why Fisher, Michaels etc dying is a shock to anyone, these are people who have lived off of being high and drugged out for years, and I'm expected to mourn them? Sorry you were great Princess Leah, shoulda stayed off the fucking drugs.

You're the king of talking out of your ass, you've never had an original comment you didn't echo from Venom, gtfo you're an ant in a world of men.

No one had a problem with me until I became an anarchist, and after that about four people took me to task, all conservatives like you.

It was never personal, it was always political, and you know it.

The number of people on this board that have called you out is more than four, Anenome.
