Weekend Headbanger - What are you listening to?

It's the weekend. We play games, watch movies, and listen to music. What are you listening to?

I have this strange habit where when I find a song I like I will throw it into a limited playlist of 7 or so tracks and listen to that playlist on repeat for days on end. If I can't stand a track during that 48 - 72 hours on repeat it gets tossed out.

If the track makes it through the marathon it can go into my favorites playlist.

A couple of the tracks I am evaluating this week:

Snow Patrol I Won't Let You Go (the very first few bars remind me of Yeah Yeah Yeah's "Maps")

ILLENIUM - Good things fall apart (awesome video in a 5th Element vibe)

A few of Landon's favorites since he was a huge Grunge fan:

And back to me with the incomparable version of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah:

Something melancholy but uplifting with Thomas Bergersen's Instrumental Remember Me:

Maybe on a hopeful note from my Xtreme repeating playlist with Danny Olson's Sol (also an instrumental):

Ah Nutshell, I always liked that one. Really liked the whole Jar of Flies album quite a bit.

Today has been a Tom Petty day for me:
