I enjoyed it, but I have to say if you don't amuse easily the continual... CONTINUAL... attempts at humor will wear on you. It was too much.
I'd call it a rental or a stream. I saw it because, well...MoviePass, lol.

It was a fun movie and I enjoyed it...but, the tone was completely inappropriate for the story they were trying to tell. I've never felt quite as conflicted about a movie as I do with Ragnarok; I enjoyed it and disliked it simultaneously. I was disappointed, but still want to see it again.
It's loaded with gallow's humor and a couple of the characters feel like the sort of people who can't help but crack a joke when things seem really shitty and serious.

I liked Thor. Was not the best or anything but good. Hope marvel movies start to mix it up a bit more in the future. I like the strange bits of Thor 3.

Saw it this weekend and loved it. One of my favorite Marvel movies so far (others being the Guardians of the Galaxy movies). It was much more funny than I thought it was going to be. I think these superhero movies do better with comedy injected... make them a fun romp, no serious business.

Damn Thor was fun ...
And I understand that Mass Murder and comedy is hard to couple - But this Thor is an idiot I don´t think they could have made it serious.

I thought it was great. Very similar in tone to Guardians of the Galaxy and the little Thor and Kevin spots that they have been doing.
I can’t tell you how cool it was to see the Beta Ray Bill Easter egg. I hope he shows up in the next Thor movie.
That is Sam Neil as Odin and Liam Hemsworth as Thor in the play.

Wait! Didn't Marvel make Thor a woman? There was no boycott of this film? Does that mean Anita Sarkeesian and the geniuses at TheMarySue were wrong?

Are you assuming from visual information that the actor is male? Because that would be egregiously misogynistic and ignorant of you!
If you want to make a liberal's head explode, ask them if images of women (such as those of models and the like) are used by misogynists to subject these poor victims to 'the male gaze' and unwanted male visual assault. After they answer in the affirmative, ask why or how they can assume those 'women' actually identify as women. If it's a guy who's answering, ask him to mansplain that, lol.
For all we know, the current Thor is actually a female.

You make a good point. Wonder Woman agrees.

Alas, it seems Blade Runner is going to fall short. The opening in China was a bust at under $8m so total box office is probably going to fall into the $250m range, about $30m from what they need for break even.
The home market will probably get it over the hump.

Cutting it from over 4,000 screens in the US to just slightly over 800 after three weeks certainly didn't help matters.

I have mixed feelings about this outcome. While I did wish it would've done well to reward those that worked on the movie I also fear that a huge success would've pushed the studio to make a third movie and honestly I don't think we need a third Bladerunner film.

And Matt Damon played the Loki actor in the play.

Thor Ragnarok was funny adventure but at times I feel at certain place it needs to tone down on the comedy, especially near the end.

I've never really, I mean really liked a MCU film before. Sure, there are some good films, but none that I feel the need to watch more than once. Thor Ragnarok is the first MCU film that I really like. The film is magnificent, can't wait to own it and watch it endlessly.

Just got back from seeing Thor. Really, really dug it. It was borderline too comedic/campy, but juuuuust managed to avoid turning me off with it. Most annoying part about the humor was that you saw ~90% of the funny bit scattered throughout the various trailers, so that ruined the majority of the moments.
I really liked that everyone had their motivations for what they did, the motivations made sense, and they pursued those motivations in a fairly intelligent/reasonable fashion.
Definitely have to put this in the top tier of Marvel flicks, but then my opinion is still very new. I really dug Age of Ultron until I had a day or two to process it and realized it was actually kinda crappy.
