It's Sunday: What NFL Games Are You Watching?

Well, here we are in the finial two games of the playoffs.

First up today is the Jacksonville Jaguars vs the New England Patriots, and then following that game it will be the Philadelphia Eagles vs the Minnesota Vikings.

I'm crossing my fingers for a Vikes win!

Who do you think is going to win today? Who do you want to win today?

Hope the Vikings win on the NFC side, but may not watch any games. Tired of seeing the Patriots cake-walked into the Super Bowl every year. It's boring. Couple of iffy calls late in the season for the win, and voila, the #1 seed again. And who did they have to play this year to earn their trip to the SB? The Titans and the Jags. 2 teams with middling QBs. Yawn.

I think the Jags have a better shot than people are giving them credit for. Their defense was quietly one of the best in the league...and thanks to Tom Coughlin, they're using the defensive scheme that beat the Patriots. Twice.

I have a hunch the Pats will win, but it's not going to be the cakewalk most are assuming it's going to be.

Well, Blake Bortles kinda sucks, and you need a QB to be able to make throws and score.

Don't you?

Maybe not.

You do. Ask my Broncos. The team is just a few years removed from a ring and littered with a bunch of talent on both sides of the ball, but we couldn't get anything but piss poor QB play all year long, and so we ended out with one of the worst team records in the last 2 decades.

Oh, I respect the Jags defense. It's their ability to hang with the Patriots on offense in an AFC Championship game - and play the mistake free football on offense that will be required to win that I doubt. Well I doubt Blake Bortles, basically. If an offense can't keep their defense off the field for very long, no matter how good that defense is, they're going to give up points. Especially against one of the league's best offenses.

I don't think they'll get blown out, but I think the Patriots will likely be in the drivers seat for the whole game. We'll see, though. Here's hoping! You never know. If the Jags and Vikes win, I'll do backflips. Finally a refreshingly new/different Super Bowl.

They won that ring with a spent quarterback who couldn't throw his way out of a wet paper bag. It can be done.

Rare though.

True, but only to a degree, as that spent QB motivated his team and had his team's respect infinitely more than a Bortles or a Seimian being a sure 1st ballot hall of famer. He also had a high enough football IQ to audible his offense into plays that took advantage of the looks the defense was giving. which ended out netting a great deal of 1st downs that year, that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

I want the Vikings and Jaguars to win.

As a Jets fan I always root against the Patriots. It's religion.

In Philadelphia they consider Cheese Wiz a delicacy, need I say more? Okay, I will. North Jersey cheese steak sandwiches are better. Better bread, better meat and real cheese! Suck on that cracked bell boys!

Saw a tweet from someone (can't remember who) saying "this is where the refs get the Patriots back into the game". They called it.

Next drive, 2 PI calls against the Jags defense in a row, including an absolutely uncatchable ball. Hey, they're back in it.

Brady has a few years left and he's done. If Belichick is smart, he'll be done then too.

Watch the Patriots turn into a giant turd for a decade when they're both gone, which isn't far off. Happened to the 49ers. Happened to the Cowboys. It is the way of things at the professional level.

Doom awaits. Until then, they'll keep winning, and if they're losing the refs will help them along.

CBS did an amazing promo video I just saw thanks to Dana Loesch's tweet.

I'm still not watching the NFL but I can appreciate the work that goes into something like this.

Here is a ripped off YouTube link for convienence. If that get's taken down here's another link.

Im really disappointed at how poorly Minnesota is playing.

31-14 atm, and although Minn just scored, I don't see them making a comeback.

31 - 14? The final score was 38 - 7.

LOL, I wrote that right when it looked like Theilen caught that TD. I shut it off and it turns out that call was reversed.
