Weekend Headbanger - What are you listening to?

I've been on a Metallica kick this week. It took me a little bit to get into their latest album, but now it's in heavy rotation in my home.

What are you listening to this weekend?

I think somebody on this forum mentioned the Armored Saint album Win Hands Down... and I've been OBSESSED. Even hunted down the vinyl release this week

Metallica's North American Tour To Be Announced On Monday

Quote:
METALLICA's rumored North American summer stadium tour with AVENGED SEVENFOLD and VOLBEAT is expected to be announced this coming Monday, February 13. Both METALLICA and concert promoter Live Nation tweeted the same seven-second video earlier today with the word "Monday" featured in an identical font as that on the band's new album, "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct". In addition, Live Nation's Facebook pages for Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Pacific Northwest, Phoenix, New England and Detroit are all displaying the same clip, strongly suggesting that there will be dates in each of these markets. Furthermore, the video was shared by the Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based concert promoter Evenko.

METALLICA's first North American tour in eight years will reportedly consist of at least twenty shows stretched out over a couple of months.

Whether the rumors are true or not, bassist Robert Trujillo told The Pulse Of Radio that METALLICA is looking forward to getting back on the road in the U.S. "Oh yeah, it's exciting, you know," he said. "We haven't spent enough time in the States in recent years and it's been a while, so rather than going and hanging out in Europe and spending a lot of time there before we come to the States, we're actually hitting the States first. And that's something that I'm really excited about, because it's been a while. It seems like people are hungry for METALLICA again and they've been waiting a long time."

METALLICA will be touring in support of "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct", its first all-new studio effort since 2008's "Death Magnetic"

I agree that it is a really good album! I saw them as well last June with Metal Church. Kick ass concert by both bands. I went there for Metal Church but left a huge fan of Armored Saint.

Finally got around to listening to some Metallica after seeing Hardwired was available with Amazon Music. Loving it. It has that old sound that I've been missing since And Justice for All....maybe even the Black album.

And Volbeat, what a find. Discovered them a while back after seeing a mention here and they are in constant rotation.

AC/DC has crept back up as of late. Not sure if Maximum Overdrive getting airplay here as of late has something to do with it but I'm game. I remember the days of Dirty Deeds and The Thunderchief through spotty speakers.....only to find I've been Done Dirt Cheap. Next I'll find out CCR's not singing about the Bathroom on the Right.

nice shares, much appreciated
