Good news. I rather enjoyed the first season and liked Bernthal as the Punisher more than I expected to. Season 2 could really go anywhere given the way Season 1 ended. They really have a clean slate to work with.

Really liked Season 1. Some of the characters made some goofy decisions but it paid off at the end.

My guess for Season 2 of the Punisher will be he gets pulled back into revenge mode based on what happens in the upcoming Daredevil Season 3. If you have knowledge of the Daredevil comics and where Netflix's The Defenders left him things are going to go very badly for a certain character.

I enjoyed the Punisher far more than I expected (and definitely more than any of the other marvel/netflix series). Season 2 should be interesting, although season 1 wrapped things up pretty nicely.

Has it been confirmed Daredevil season 3 is following that storyline?

Charlie Cox (Murdock) confirmed it would be based on the "Born Again" storyline. Not a direct adaptation obviously. The porno stuff I can't imagine happening. But there was one big loose end from the first season they never addressed again and I can see it being a catalyst for things.

Got finished watching this last week. Was pretty good so I'm happy to hear about a second season.

I am not familiar with any of the comic plotlines but I suspect one of the few things which would really pull him back in revenge mode would be if Paige were threatened in some way. There's not much left for him to lose.

Maybe the DHS agent.

I think they've set up the potential for Typhoid Mary too. A certain redhead shot somebody without barely batting an eye if I recall.

I'm not a fan of superhero stuff but I enjoyed the first season. It would have been better condensed down to 8 episodes but still, it was good and i'll watch season 2.

I guess I'm in the minority, because I was kind of disappointed with this show; It was really slow and boring. I mean, it's miles better than Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders, but that's not saying much since those shows were complete shit.

Honestly, I'd rather watch the corny, low-budget, terribly-acted Punisher: War Zone from 2008 again.

Iíve always really loved Typhoid Mary. I read the first story I experienced with her in it when I was like 8 and it blew my mind. That was in the late 80s when Marvel was doing a lot of weird experimental art, too.
