They'd better try to innovate, to beyond what Kinect is, to differentiate, or they'll always be a Kinect also-ran.
The kinect style controller is certainly the new "wheel", the differentiation will come in the form of capabilities and quality of the interface with the applications. Sony will succeed if their "kinect" becomes better then the one from Microsoft.

You know, I've heard many people say this, but it hasn't been my experience at all. But I've only really tested Move with lightgun type games, since those are the games I've been interested in that use it. Oh, and a few demos in a store, and that was having problems. The clerk said something about it being too close to the windows and the sunlight messing with it.
