I think the helmet was an improvement for her.

So has anyone else heard about this news that getting the good ending in ME3 requires you to basically 100% it unless you play multiplayer where there are microtransactions to boost your progress?

Lol, if true that's a cynical play and I won't touch anything else Bioware after this. I would Youtube the 100% ending before I spend on crap DLC.

But I really don't think it's going to come to that.

Looks like the MT's in the multiplayer are an alternate way to buy the kits. Sorta sneaky in that the kits are random, like buying booster packs for a CCG. Unless they change the rate of xp gain though, I can't see how buying the kits would be worth it over the rate you can earn them normally. During the mp demo, we were buying the vet kits (the lesser of the two purchasables) in two rounds with credits to spare, and that was just at bronze difficulty.

Might have been an inclusion to make us be less sour about the point system for buying their DLC. I noticed that the veteran pack is 80 BW points, which is conveniently exactly what I have left over on my account from the $DLC I've bought from them.

They said from the get-go that the multiplayer would be an option for that 100%, but not a requirement. Since I intend to play the hell out of the MP, it's all the same to me regardless. I think it's a cool idea, rewarding players who enjoy the co-op with single player rewards. I should be rewarded for playing the game how I want to (as long as I put the time and effort in), and it feels like it'll tie in nicely with the setting/story.

Was actually pretty obvious from how they did the multiplayer unlocks that they were going to set up an 'optional' MT system for it. I'm undecided so far, depends on how bad the drop rates are going to be once everything is in.

Speaking of multiplayer, it is already full of level 18 assholes who ridicule then kick you from the lobby for being level 2. Seriously, FUCK. MULTIPLAYER. TO. HELL. I have yet to enjoy any MP experience more than the SP experience. The only time I ever liked MP was Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament deathmatch. All other MP is a POS.

It's what happens when you add levels or ranks to multiplay; the only time you'll get ridiculed in something like TF2 is if you blatantly suck or you're not wearing a hat.
