Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut Coming to Consoles and PC

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut was previously thought to be exclusive to the Wii U, but Gamestop reports it's also coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Quote:
Square Enix has confirmed to GameSpot that the upcoming Director's Cut for Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC alongside the previously announced Wii U version.

Eidos Montreal's Jean Francois Dugas revealed that the Director's Cut was going multiplatform on GameSpot's E3 2013 Live Show.

No additional information was given, nor did Square Enix confirm whether the Director's Cut would be released separately as DLC for current owners of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Not much monogamy in the gaming industry any longer. Bunch of filthy polygamists.

Is this going to be a DLC or free update for PC version? I don't want to rebuy the whole game (and expansion).

Should be free. If you have the DLC like I do that's nothing but a patch.

Then why would anyone buy the DC when the original is ALWAYS on sale?

By making the DC version a better alternative than the original plus all the DLC for people who don't own the game at all. If you own the base game then the Directors Cut "DLC" replaces the other DLC as a single purchase.
