DARK Adds 3D and Oculus Rift Support on PC

Kalypso Media has announced that the Windows PC version of DARK will support 3D and the upcoming Oculus Rift.

Kalypso Media is excited to announce that their upcoming vampire stealth-action game, DARK, will feature support for both 3D via supported televisions, and through conventional Anaglyph (red/blue glasses) 3D. Even more exciting is that DARK will support the upcoming Oculus Rift virtual-reality head-mounted display on Windows PC. For those gamers without a 3D TV or Oculus headset, you can still enjoy DARK in 3D by simply using the classic stereoscopic (red/blue) 3D lenses on a standard monitor! With these additional visual support options for DARK, you will be able to hunt your enemies and unleash stunning vampire powers in magnificent 3D and virtual reality!

It seems like Oculus Rift would feel weird in a third person game

A number of different style games have been experimenting with the Oculus, First person makes sense obviously. I suppose you would get used to a 3rd person .. could be quite cool actually but I suppose camera positioning in 3rd person will be even more of an issue with Oculus than in standard "Cheap-O-Vision".

That's reminds me there are rumours going about that the PS4 may get Oculus support..

Sony have their own VR stuff but nothing like the Oculus so sounds plausible.. ?

Of all the upcoming Tech the Oculus is the only thing I'm actually genuinely excited about, will be nice if it supports at least one of the next gen consoles in addition to my PC
